Chanda and Greg

There are special moments at every wedding we are fortunate enough to host here at the Villa. We’re saps for a good toast, we’ll tear up at touching moments at the vow exchanges, and every now and then, passing the Father of the Bride in the hallways is enough to make us misty.

However, events like our Marry the Military wedding are special moments that transcend a teary-eyed toast. Most weddings connect two families by way of bride and groom; Marry the Military felt more like it tied together generations of service men and women with 234 years of American freedom. It was an inspirational event that made you truly thankful not just for their services at war, but for the diligence they have for still finding a way to make their family a priority.

Joe, Erika and I are truly thankful that we’re given the opportunity to serve those who serve for us. We are all personally impacted in some way, shape, or form by those who work tirelessly to keep our nation safe.

“Then join hand in hand, brave Americans all!
By uniting we stand, by dividing we fall.”
-John Dickinson
